I think I found where the term "bug-eyes" comes from. Here is a fun fact from @brain_facts_org . The two large compound eyes of the dragonfly have thousands of lenses and three eyes with simple lenses. Dragonflies are always watching.

The "cathedral of learning" at the university of Washington is a library built in the 1920's and the brainchild of then president Henry Suzzallo. The gothic style building is now called the Suzzallo Library.
